About Diana

Born and raised in Buffalo, N.Y., Diana Sproveri began her pastry career after her move to Los Angeles, C.A. where she currently resides. After a successful career as a private pastry chef, Diana Sproveri opened her designer bake shop in the Fall of 2010. Standing apart from other bake shops, Diana’s personal and elegant touch to her baked goods, combined with complex pastry chef techniques, has earned her a place as one of the top modern bakers in the country. Her ‘by appointment’ trendy shop hosts a breadth of services including weddings, unique gifts and spectacular dessert events.
Hosting a long list of celebrity clients, Diana and her sweets have been featured at such prestigious events as the Oscars, the American Music Awards, the Golden Globes and the Emmys, among others. She continues to dazzle with breathtaking dessert tables as well as custom made gifts not found anywhere else in Los Angeles.

Assisting Diana as a business consultant is James N. Davella of James N. Davella Consulting. A graduate of the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and with an M.B.A from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business, James served as Director of Foodservice and Equipment Design at Shawmut Design and Construction working on such projects as the launch of Le Cirque in Mexico City. He formed his own company in 2005 and has since helped numerous restaurants rise to the top, including the newly opened and critically acclaimed Beecher’s Handmade Cheese in Manhattan.
